ENJOYABLE DANCE

On Friday night Mrs R. S. Baird, Park Lane, invited the young friends of her daughter, Aileen, to a very enjoyable dance, which took place at the home of Mrs Baird’s father, Mr J. McRae, Selwyn Street. The rooms were decorated with Iceland poppies and chrysanthemums, and the supper table with bowls of mauve stylosis. Mrs Baird received the guests wearing a frock of black marocain relieved with scarlet. Miss Aileen Baird’s frock was of ivory and shell-pink crepe marocain.
