TRACK BUCKLED
TRUCKS LEAVE RAILS By Telegraph—Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, March 31. More than 60 yards of railway track were twisted and buckled when four trucks left the rails on the Moturoa wharf to-night. A goods train was carrying a consignment of sulphur from the motor vessel Sandham. and the last four waggons were about 60 yards from the shore end of the wharf when they left the rails, twisting many of the sections beyond repair. So heavily were the rails damaged by the fully laden trucks that they had to be taken up.
