ANNUAL CONFERENCE By Telegraph—Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, March 10 The 1940 conference of the Federation of New Zealand Justices Associations is to be held in Wellington, it was decided at to-day’s session of the National Conference at New Plymouth. It was pointed out that the conference would be a momentous one, coinciding with the Centenary celebrations, and would probably be representative of justices from Australia and other parts of the Empire. The officers elected were:—President, Mr W. C. Weston (Taranaki); vicepresident, Mr J. M. Jenkins (South Canterbury); registrar and treasurer, Mr A. J. Stratford (Auckland); honorary solicitors, Mr L. P. Leary and Mr E. C. Phillips (Wellington); reference officer, Mr H. W. Shortt.
