THREE STOWAWAYS
COURT IMPOSES FINE
By Telegraph—Press Association INVERCARGILL, January 10. Three young New Zealanders —Percy Arnold Love, aged 27, Herbert Clifford Love, aged 25, and Jack Coham, aged 24—were charged at Bluff to-day with stowing away on the Maunganui at Melbourne. They were convicted and ordered to pay £6 10s each, in default 21 days’ imprisonment. It was stated that the three accused, failing to gather together sufficient money to pay their passage across, stowed away in the hospital part of the ship.
