MONKS IN TIBET
MASS HEARD BY RADIO OLD HOSPICE TRANSMITS Christmas Mass at St. Bernard Hospice was heard over the air by monks in the eastern Himalayas, says the Milan correspondent of the Times. The monks left the hospice in 1933 to establish a similar hospice at Silah Pass, Tibet. Their Christmas gifts to their old hospice included skins of wild beasts and the seeds of giant fir trees.
