CYCLIST KILLED
RAN INTO REAR OF TRUCK By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, January 8. When he crashed into the rear of a heavy truck travelling in the same direction, Charles Rose, aged 26, of Papatoetoe, was killed shortly before five o'clock this morning on the Great South Road, two miles south of Papakura. His skull was fractured and he was dead when the ambulance arrived. He had been on a motor-cycle tour of the North Islnad and was returning home.
