CELEBRITIES IN PARIS "Australian girls have 100 per cent, chances of getting good jobs as mannequins in London,” said Miss Jean Black, on arrival in Sydney by the Viminale recently after twelve months abroad, states the “Sun." At the Bagatelle night club in Paris, where one dances on a roof-top under the stars, I saw Marlene Dietrich wearing a black frock with muff sleeves embroidered with pearls and gold cords. “I was excited to see the Duke and Duchess of Windsor lunching one day at the Ritz. She is smart, but far from being pretty. “A fashion craze abroad is knitted clothes. Everything—cocktail suits, evening gowns, afternoon frocks—is knitted.” Miss Black brought back a '-nitted evening gown in bronze thread, which is most attractive.
