WEDDING

GRANT—JUDGE The marriage of Winfred Margaret, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs A. Judge. "Kianga Koa,” Waimate to Raymond Errol, younger son of Mr and Mrs P. Grant, of “Grantlea,” Waimate, was celebrated on Wednesday at St. Augustine’s Church, Waimate, by the Rev. A. H. Acheson. Mr Cliffe Stanford was organist. Mr Judge escorted his daughter to the church, which was tastefully decorated with blue delphiniums and pink hydrangeas by friends of the bride. Miss Gladys Holmes was bridesmaid, with Mary Judge and Georgina Mcßae as flower girls. Mr Arthur Lambourne was best man.

The bride's frock of magnolia lace was worn with a matching coatee and a nosy of orange blossom at the neckline. She wore a picture hat to tone trimmed with a fiat bow of powder blue velvet ribbon. Her buquet was composed of deep cream roses and abutilons.

After the ceremony Mr and Mrs Judge entertained between 40 to 50 guests at the Savoy, where the customary toasts were honoured. The bride travelled in a Lido blue suit with a navy blouse halo hat and accessories.

Mr and Mrs Grant will make their future home in Waiau.
