Collision In Clyde. The steamer Hertford, homeward bound from Auckland, collided with the motor-vessel Moveria in the River Clyde. The Hertford was damaged above the waterline and proceeded to Glasgow where she is being surveyed. The damage to the Moveria Is not known. She has gone to Liverpool. Steel Price Rises. A Sydney message states that leading steel companies supplying fabricated steel for building construction will raise their prices to-day by 3.2 per cent.
