GIRL BANDITS
COLD-BLOODED MURDER OF BUS DRIVER
United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received January 5, 8.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, January 5. The police announce that two girls, 20 and 17 respectively, confessed that they shot dead a bus driver on December 21, during a hold-up that netted them two dollars. The elder girl, Ethel Strouse, the daughter of a patrolman, admitted that she fired the fatal shot, and the other, Genevieve Owens, admitted driving the stolen car. Both are charged with murder.
