TRAINING CRAFT
ASSISTANCE FOR AERO CLUBS By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, January 5. Early last year it was decided, after a conference with the New Zealand Aero Club, to assist individual clubs by advancing loans free of interest for the purchase of further training craft to enable clubs to carry out the increased amount of flyr g resulting from the new training scheme. Under this scheme one Miles Whitney Straight, two Hornet Moths and ten Tiger Moth Trainers have been purchased. The Hon. F. Jones announced to-day that the shipment of nine Tiger Moths had been completed, and the Witney Straight would be shipped this month. One Hornet Moth had already been delivered to the Hav.’ke’s Bay and East Coast Club. The other was to be shipped during March.
