At the same time the Senate, with three dissentients, passed a motion expressing dissatisfaction with the present Cabinet, and asking the King to reconsider the situation. A Wafd meeting later decided to expel the President of the Chamber of Deputies. It is understood that there will be further expulsions. Lights Turned Out Unable to restore order, the Speaker ordered the lights to bi turned out. The Deputies continued to shout in the darkness, but the demonstrators eventually withdrew to attend a meeting of the Wafd Party. No progress was made with the business so that Parliament has not yet been officially adjourned.
