In the Sheffield Shield cricket matches to-day, New South Wales in the first innings against Queensland made 241 (Fingleton 65. Barnes 50). Cook took six wickets for 94. Queensland in the second made 105 for seven wickets (Tallow 41). In Melbourne, Victoria in the first innings against South Australia made 364. Grimmett took six wickets for 95. South Australia in the second had lots three wickets for 148 (Bradman 35, Robinson 45 not out). All Records Broken Bradman, by his score of 35 in the Sheffield Shield game to-day, has become the greatest Australian rungetter of all time, beating Clem Hill’s record. All India in the second innings made 192 (Mushtaq All 59, Hindlekar 60). James Langridge took six wickets for 41.
Lord Tennyson’s team in their second innings made 42 for two wickets.
