ITALY’S TROUBLES
HAMPERED BY SHORTAGE OF EXCHANGE

The Milan correspondent of “The Daily Telegraph” says: Owing to the shortage of foreign exchange, the Ministry of Currencies is curtailing the English, French and American quotas of exhibits for the Milan sample fair. The decision does not affect Germany, Japan, Yugoslavia or other countries bartering, or doing purely a clearance trade with Italy.
