OBITUARY
SUPERIOR OF MARIST BROTHERS By Telegraph—F ess Association AUCKLAND, November 29. Advice was received in Auckland today of the death in Sydney of the Rev. Brother Denis Reilly, who was at one time rector of St. Joseph’s College, Hunter’s Hill, Sydney. In more recent years he was appointed first Provincial Superior of the Marist Brothers in New Zealand. He was well-known in the Dominion, having paid several visits to all the Marist Brothers’ Schools throughout the country during his term as Provincial Superior. CAPTAIN W. G. BRADDELL Bv Telegraph--Press Association PALMERSTON NORTH, Nov. 29. The death is announced of Captain George William Braddell, aged 59. He served in South Africa and joined the New Zealand Staff Corps in 1911, retiring on account of ill-health. Recently he was engaged as supervisor of the Forestry Reserve at Tangimoana. He leaves a widow and three daughters.
