SHOCK FOR YOUTHS
BANDIT ESCAPADE ENDS TRAGICALLY United Press Association —B\ uiiecirlc Telegraph —Copyrlgh t PEL PASO (Texas) Nov. 25. Two youths attired in “ten gallon” hats, chaps and boots boarded a Southern Pacific passenger train, dieting smiles from their fellow travellers, who eyed them obviously as tenderfoot cowboys. Amusement, however, turned to consternation when the masqueraders herded the train crew and passengers together at the point of a gun. The robbers were later disclosed to be tyros who nervously shot dead a trainman when he made a false move. The passengers then leaped on the youths and so severely thrashed them that both are likely to die.
