FULL-TIME TEACHER
AGRICULTURAL SUBJECTS AT PLEASANT POINT In recognition of the fine work that has been carried out for some time, the Cabinet has approved the appointment of a full-time agricultural instructor to the staff of the Pleasant Point District High School. Two additional open-air school rooms are to oe built and a grant for them has been approved. This Information was received by Mr T. D. Burnett, M. P., in Wellington yesterday. For some time the committee has had the co-operation of a large nuniers of farmers of the district in the encouragement of agriculture in the school, and considerable interest has been aroused in the last few years.
