FLOWER SHOW

ST. PAUL’S, HIGHFIELD FINE DISPLAY Remarkably fresh blooms, considering recent weather conditions, were seen at the annual flower show of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Highfield, yesterday. The general standard of the exhibits was described as being very high by all the judges, Mrs F. Barker paying a special compliment to the decorative section. Mr J. Rennie won the premier bloom prize. The judges were: Mrs F. Barker (decorative), Mrs L. Murray (cooking), and Mrs Arthur Jones (cut flowers, roses, fruit and vegetables). Awards:— Cot Flowers Flowering shrubs (three vases): W. J.
