Allegations by poultry farmers that a low-flying bomber stopped hens laying, caused many to moult, and chickens to die, led to the court-martial of Pilot-Officer Dennis. Bamber, a Hampshire poultrywoman, is claiming £3OO from the Air Ministry to compensate her for reduced egg output. The court-martial adjourned.
