MAY UPSET CALCULATIONS J. Roseveare (St. John’s) is perhaps the most improved player in the district. Distinctly unorthodox in production of strokes he is neverthe'ess effective. After winning the South Canterbury junior championship last year, he proceeded to Wellington
where he gave a good account of himself in the New Zealand junior championships. The experience gained there is reflected in his improved form this season. Lack of inches combined with a poor service are his main weaknesses. Before long he may upset many calculations.
