GENERAL Since the recent drought has broken 197 points of rain has been recorded on Mr Volckman’s gauge at Te Moana. Rain fell as follows: November 14th, .021ns, November 16th .07ins, November 17th ,18ins, November 18th .76ins, November 19th .94ins. This rainfall has had a good effect on crops and pastures. Mr A. Coleman, manager of the cheese factory at Pleasant Valley, reports an increase in the supply of milk The factory is handling more than 900 gallons of milk daily.
