INMATE OF GAOL By Telegraph—Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, November 23. After complaining to a warder early yesterday -fternoon, that he was not feeling well, Pierre Francis L’Hommedieu, an inmate of New Plymouth gaol, was locked in his cell. An hour and a half later he was found hanging from the bars of the cell window by wool used for knitting. L’Hommedieu was born in France 43 years ago, and served with the French Army in the war. He was serving a term of four years’ hard labour.
