DRAGGED BY PONY
BOY FATALLY INJURED By Telegraph—Press Association BLENHEIM, November 23. Bertie James Morrison (13), Okaramio, suffered fatal injuries when dragged by a pony on his [ andmother’s farm yesterday afternoon. Unable to reach the stirrup irons. Morrison was riding with his feet in the leathers, when one stirrup caught in a opened gate, throwing him off the pony, one foot entangling in the leather.
The pony bolted with the boy hanging head down. He suffered severe head injuries, succumbing soon after the doctor’s arrival from Havelock.
