TRAM WRECKED BY BOMB.— Ghastly scenes were witnessed on October 14 when Japanese aeroplanes bombed the Chinese quarters alongside Soochow Creek, one of the bombs falling inside the Settlement and wrecking a trackless tram and killing and wounding the occupants. The photograph shows the wreckage of the tram-car after the bombing.
