OBITUARY
SIR CHARLES BRIGHT United Press Association—By Electrto Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 22, 735 pm.) LONDON, November 22. The death is announced of Sir Charles Bright. Sir Charles Bright was born on December 25, 1863. His father, Sir Charles Trltson Bright, was knighted for laying the first Atlantic cable. Following in the footsteps of his father, Sir Charles Bright was attached to the Government in the role of inspector of cables. Besides writing many books on engineering and scientific subjects he sponsored the suggestion for reduced cable rates on deferred messages, which the Government adopted. In a similar way Sir Charles Bright was responsible for the application of wireless to aircraft.
