COLONIAL ISSUE RAISED
HITLER’S VIGOROUS OUTBURST
LOUDER AND LOUDER DEMANDS
United Press Association—By Electrto Telegrtpb-Copyrigbt BERLIN, November 21. In a speech at Augsberg, regarding Germany’s colonial claims, Herr Hitler said: “What they do not like to hear today, they will be unable to ignore in a year’s time. What to-day they will not consider doing, they will think about doing in three years’ time, and in four or five years they will consider practically. The main thing is the new German army here, and Germany has lost her inferiority complex. We have a great task before us, and we must raise the demand for colonial living room louder and louder, as I know the world will be unable »•„ refuse It. The hardest and worst preliminary work is accomplished. Other nations would think different of the German demands if they were in a position to feel the loss of colonies.”
Hint to Germany The Berlin correspondent of “The Observer" reports that as far as can be ascertained, Lord Halifax was able in his preliminary talks with Baron von Neurath to put the British Cabinet standpoint as follows: That Germany should refrain from putting her colonial claims direct to England, and instead, place them before the League of Nations. The question would then be brought up for discussion by the mandatory Powers.
