LATEST ADVICES The Holmglen, which arrived on Sunday loaded general cargo for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato at Timaru yesterday, and sailed for Lyttelton. The Cumberland, which is engaged In loading for West Coast of England ports at No. 1 wharf, is to sail to-morrow for Wellington. Tlie Holmlea is set down to arrive on Thursday from the south for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato loading. The Port Whangarei is expected on Thursday from Dunedin. She is to load for Tauranga, Auckland and Whangarei. New York Sailings The Federal Company advises that the City of Bagdad, which is to leave New York on December 15, will now discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She will be followed by the Piako on January 8 and the City of Canberra on February 22. Personal Mr G. M. Schofield has joined the Kaiwarra as second officer, relieving Mr E. F. Rainbow for holidays. Mr R. K. MacKenzie is now acting second officer of the Kalingo, relieving Mr E. A. Stevens for orders. Mr F. D. Johnson has joined the Rangatira as chief officer, relieving Mr W. J. Hill, who has come ashore owing to an injured ankle. The Waikouaiti’s Transhipments Tire Walkouaitl sailed from Sydney on Thursday for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton. Included in her cargo are transhipments ex the following vessels: Danmark, Yaye Maru and Nankin.
