NEGLIGENT DRIVING
PROBATION GRANTED By Telegraph —Press Association HAMILTON, November 22. Percy Arnold Stone (20), car salesman, Katikati, who was found guilty of negligent driving, causing death, with a strong plea to leniency on Friday, was admitted to probation for five years by Mr Justice Callan, in the Supreme Court to-day. His license was suspended for five years. Stone collided with a girl cyclist. Beryl Byrne (18), at Huntly, killing her instantly ou September 22.
