PARACHUTIST’S LANDING By ielegrapu Hess Association AUCKLAND. November 22. The report that after jumping from the aeroplane above the Auckland Domain on Saturday, he narrowly escaped a crash through the glass roof in the Wir’-r Garden, was denied today by the parachutist, G. W. Sellars, who said the aeroplane was flying at 2000 feet, and he was capable of avoiding the glass house at any time during the descent "My landing on a thinly wooded slope below the outer domain was made purposely,” said Sellars. "The dense crowds on the banks and centre of the ground made it seemingly impossible for me to land without Injuring somebody. I was not injured in the slightest by the fall, which was one of the lightest I have made."

overseas desired to know about New Zealand. He expressed keen appreciation of the hospitality extended to the visitors during their stay, and said that the appointments and service were as good as one could wish for.

The Hon. T. O’Byrne (Invercargill' endorsed the remarks made by Mr McKeen, and said that no matter how much their minds were taxed, they would keep evergreen the memory of the pleasant trip they had had.

Mr J. b. Cotterill (Wanganui) expressed similar sentiments, and said that if any place merited boosting it was Mount Cook. Mr D. McDougall, M.P. for Mataura, Mr A. C. Sexton, M.P. fo- Franklin, Mr A. Campbell, M.P. for Chalmers, and the Hon. J. A. McCullough (Canterbury) also spoke.
