DECISION OF SOCIAL CREDIT WHIP United Press Associnilon—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 21, 6.30 p.m.) EDMONTON, November 18. James Unwin has announced that his appeal has been abandoned. James Unwin, Whip in the Alberta Social Credit Government, was sentenced to three month’ imprisonment for defamatory libel, in connection with the attack on the Alberta bankers. Mr Jbstice Ivea warned accused that he had better take a personal stocktaking. The constitutents were paying for the best public service and had been betrayed.
