DR. COOK’S SUIT FAILS IN COURT United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 21, 6.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 19. The Appelate Court denied the suit of Dr. Cook claiming 125,000 dollars from the “Encyclopaedia Britannica,’ because it declared that the claims of his North Pole discovery were “universally rejected.” The Court held that those references did not involve libel.
