United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 21, .30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, November 20. The Roman Catholic Hierarchy at its annual meeting sent a letter to the Catholic leaders in Spain and Germany denouncing the policies ot the Spanish and German Governments towards religion. The letter to Germany declared that “religious-minded persons throughout the world are outraged by the satanie resourcefulness of the leaders of modern paganism in Germany, and the incredible excesses that they commit. Hut faith still lives and it will live forever and finally triumph despite the present inhuman struggle.’ The letter to Spain said: "Clever propaganda maliciously used by the proponents of atheism and chaos, has beclouded the real facts in Spain. Tire church has been outrageously persecuted because she dared to stand witness to the Christian principles of a great people.”
