BRITISH PRESS COMMENT “EXAMPLE TO THE WORLD’’ ■ United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright LONDON, November 19. I “The Dally Telegraph,” in a leader on the proposed Anglo-American trade agreement, says: “It will be heartily welcomed on all sides. It not only sets an Impressive example to the world at large, but makes a definite break in that vicious circle of exclusiveness and restriction which has so grievously crippled international trade and hindered recovery from the post-war depression. The final bargain, if it is to have any virtue, must be one that will not leave aggrieved those whom it is designed to benefit. For that :- suit the best assurance on our side is that the dominions will be taken into the fullest consultation from the first, and that though existing privileges may be readjusted they will not be sacrificed.”
