FOULED A ROPE
CYCLISTS PRECIPITATED INTO HARBOUR
The old saying about the fisherman who caught nothing but a cold was probably true of one of the frequenters of No. 2 wharf yesterday, where good results from rod fishing were reported. With a small boy on the bar of a cycle and a bag of mussels for bait, the fisherman was riding along the wharf to begin operations on the trevalli when the machine became entangled in a rope and the pair went over the side into the harbour. Assistance was soon forthcoming, and the man and boy were none the worse for the mishap.
