FOREIGN EXCHANGES United Press Association -By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 20. Foreign exchange quotations are: Dollar 5.00 11-16 to the pound, franc 147 5-32 to the pound. PRICE OF GOLD United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 20. Gold is quoted at £7/0/0 per fine ounce. LAMB EXPORTS A telegram from Auckland states that the export schedule of prices for lambs on the hooks at the Southdown Freezing Works are to be maintained for this week’s killings at 9d per lb up to 421 b, and 81d over 421 b and for seconds. These rates are the same as those in force last week. The cold squally weather has caused the killings last week to be disappointing. Better results are expected in the current week, but it is already apparent that the flush of the season will not be reached till well on in December. The total killings in the Auckland Province to this date are substantially lower than at this period last year, when the conditions were more favourable. In spite of this a good season is expected. The lambs so far have killed out well when they have been well drafted.
