TIMARU CLUB The Timaru Cycling Club” handicap road race from Washdyke to Pleasant Point and back, a distance -f 18 miles, was won on Saturday by T. Fountain, who although he fell, from his cycle at Pleasant Point, finished well to win a good race. Eighteen riders competed. Results:— T. Fountain (41mm), 48 mln 23sec 1 G. Jackson (3jmin), 47min 20sec 2 M. Luke (4lmin), 48min 6sec .... 3 I. Higgs (45min), 48min 37sec .... 4 Fastest times:— A. R. Dale (scr), 46min ssec .... 1 G. Jackson (31min), 47min 20sec .. 2
