Woodhouse (president), Miss Joy Bennett, Mr and Mrs H. Elworthy, Mrs H. B. S. Johnstone, Mr and Mrs Coles, Mr and Mrs J. Hay, Mrs Cocks, Mr and Mrs J. R. Trimble, Mrs P. F. Dix, Mrs J. V. Foxon, Miss Arden, Mrs A. L. Bennett, Mrs Coup, Messrs J. and T. Elworthy, K. Cocks. The election of officers resulted:— President, Mrs Woodhouse; secretary, Miss Joy Bennett; treasurer, Mr J. R. Trimble. The meeting decided that the programme for the function should include side shows, pony events, dog trials, section for pets, folk, dancing, children’s events and refreshment and produce stalls. A display of living bridge is being arranged by Mrs Mills. The Timaru Pipe Band, which kindly offered its services last year, is to be approached in the matter of attending the forthcoming function.

Jubilee Arrangements A further meeting to make final arrangements was held by the committee in charge of the functions to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the St. Andrews Anglican Church. The Sunday morning service will be held at 11 a.m. and will be followed by luncheon at 1 p.m. WEEKLY CRIBBAGE There was a large attendance of supporters at the weekly cribbage match played at the Pareora East School under the auspices of the School Committee. The prize winners were Mrs E. Lange and Mr S. R. Wilkes. PERSONAL Miss Sadie Hay is spending her annual vacation at her home, “The Vicarage,” St. Andrews. Miss Joy Bennett and Mr A. L.
