His licence was cancelled for 12 months. The traffic inspector said he overhauled Diedrich doing 43 miles an hour. He admitted having had three beers and lurched when he got out of the car. WELLINGTON, October 18. Pleading guilty to being intoxicated in charge of a car John Bums, salesman, aged 42, was fined Sl5 in the Magistrate’s Court to-day. His licence was suspended for six months.
