KITCHEN EVENING

A happy time was spent in the Southburn school, the occasion being a double ki.chen evening in honour of Miss Gibson and Miss Ivy Kinross, who are to be October brides. Kfr Rupert Parry, on behalf of the Tennis Club, wished the guests of honour happiness and prosperity in the future. The parcels were then opened. Mr R. Jackson, on behalf of Miss Gibson, and Mr P. Preston, on behalf of Miss Kinross, returned thanks for the gifts. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss D. Bell and Mr E. Parry. Those present were: Mr and Mrs J. Gibson, Mr and Mrs A.
