REVIEW OF TREATY
DOMINION TO BE REPRESENTED By Telegraph—Pres* &**ocl»tlo« WELLINGTON, October 18. Hie Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, announced to-night that hs had received through the British Ambassador at Brussels an invitation from the Belgian Government for New Zealand Government representation at a meeting to be held in Brussels on October 30 of the Powers signatory to the Nine-Power Treaty relating to China signed at Washington in February, 1923. New Zealand was one of the original signatories of the Treaty. The object of the meet’ng is to examine in accordance with Article 7 thereof the situation in the Far East and to inquire into methods of bringing the present conflict to a conclusion. The New Zealand Government has accepted the invitation and is arranging to be represented by the High Commissioner in London, Mr W. J. Jordan.
