The barometer was steady and read 30.106 inches at 5 p.m. Ashburton—The weather yesterday was again fine and sunny. The sky was cloudless in the morning and there was a light northerly wind, which was slightly cool. Another sharp frost of 5.6 degrees was recorded. Geraldine—Air temperatures, minimum 35, maximum 75, at 9 a.m. 60. Bright sunshine throughout the day. Temuka—Bright sunshine prevailed yesterday. At sunset the glass was steady. The maximum temperature was 64 degrees. Waimate (for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. yesterday)—Thermometer, maximum 62.5, minimum 37; frost, 7 degrees; bright sunshine, 11 hours 6 minutes; wind gauge, miles run in last 24 hours, 56. Yesterday was bright and sunny with a cool breeze in evidence. Dunedin—The weather yesterday was fine with bright sunshine and the temperature reached a maximum of 67 degrees.
