STRUCK BY CAR
OLD MAN FATALLY INJURED By Telegraph—Press Association NAPIER. October 6. Joseph Smith, aged 67, of Berhampore, Wellington, who arrived by the express train last evening, was knocked down by a car in Hardings Road. He died a few minutes after admission to hospital. He was visiting Napier for the purpose of attending the wedding of- a niece to-day. An inquest will be held to-morrow morning.
