LUSITANIA TRAGEDY RECALLED Uuiuo Piets Association—B) -m Telegranh Uopyrtaht LONDON, October 4“As a contribution to world peace” the Broadstairs Council has decided to efface the words “Lest We Forget” from the Lusitania raft on the pier. A councillor supporting the decision said: “I have a body full of war wounds, but I do not undress several times daily to look at them. I want to forget them.” A man was recently fined for defacing the words with paint.
