OFFICIAL WEIGHING OF LITTER The official weighing of the litter of Mr S. Unwin's purebred Berkshire sow, Stoneycroft Eleanor, which farrowed a litter of nine on June 21 last, resulted as follows.— 3 weeks old 1121 b 8 weeks old 3341 b
As the pigs were born in the winter and the sow had no cow’s milk she was fed only on meal and roots. This is the second litter of this sow which has been recorded.
