Silt HUBERT WILKINS’S SEARCH United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received Auguct 24, 7.55 p.m.) WASHINGTON, August 23. The Soviet Embassy announces that Sir Hubert Wilkins reached latitude 78 degrees when fog and head winds forced him back to Coppermine River. He will resume the search as soon as the weather clears up. Sir Hubert Wilkins is reported to be flying over the Pole in search for the Soviet fliers.
