POLICE ACTIVITY By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, July 19 Intense police activity is being maintained following the mysterious explo.4!on which resulted in Mr R. A. Singer, a well-known Auckland barrister, being injured as he walked along the garden path at his home at Grafton Road after alighting from a taxi at his gate on the night of July 9. Mr Singer, who is a patient in a private hospital, is making a satisfactory recovery, although he is still suffering from shock.
