There were 200 starters, but England and Germany were the only finishers. V. Brittain (Norton), G. Rowley (A.J.S.) and William Waycitt (Velocette), completed the distance with a total saving of 39 minutes 17 seconds in their schedule Urns, beating the Germans by 10 seconds.
