Aidermen of the Sydney City Council express Indignation at the action of the Italian tenor, Tita Schipa, who is visiting Australia, in giving the Fascist salute while the National Anthem is being sung at the end of his concerts hi the city at the Town Hall.
Aiderman Donald Grant, who declared that he had received many complaints, said that a foreign singer should realise that he came here as an artist and not as a political propagandist.
The Lord Mayor Aiderman Howie, warned entrepreneurs that the Town Hall would not be hired if the public susceptibilities were offended In this manner.
