It is believed that one hundred were killed and 200 injured when the Pun-jab-Howrah express was derailed near Nihta station. The engine and three coaches were fling down the embankment. The Patna correspondent of “The Daily Mail” says: “It is officially announced that 80 persons were killed and 65 injured ’n the Nihta smash. All the victims were Indians. The turned up rails suggest that the disaster was due to sabotage.
