TO BE RETAINED
SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING By Telegraph AUCKLAND, July 16. “I have pleasure in informing you that it has been decided to retain the School of Engineering at Auckland, and that the necessary funds for this year Wilf be included in the Departmen’s estimates," is the intimation conveyed by telegraph from Hon. P. Fraser to Mr H. J. D. Mahon, president cf the University College Council. The Minister asks that the contribution already secured be capitalised and applied to maintaining the School of Engineering. “We appreciate very deeply the decision of the Minister and the careful consideration of the problem on which he based it, said Ir Mahon, commenting on the telegram.
